Kolekcja Solidarności w Bibliotece Brytyjskiej

Kolekcja jest drugim co do wielkości repozytorium polskich publikacji niezależnych na Wyspach Brytyjskich. Jej początki sięgają lat 70., kiedy Bibliotek Brytyjska pozyskała pierwszej egzemplarze podziemnych biuletynów i periodyków wydawanych przez grupy opozycyjne. Kolekcja składa się z książek, czasopism i efemerycznych publikacji. Jest wyrazem siły, bogactwa oraz wpływów lokalnych i międzynarodowych w wydawnictwach podziemnych w Polsce w latach 1976-1989.

Znaczki Poczty Podziemnej Michała Gucia

Kolekcja zebrana przez Michała Gucia stanowi obszerny zbiór znaczków, stempli i kopert dystrybuowanych w Polsce lat 80. w drugim obiegu. Znaczki stanowiły formę poparcia dla „Solidarności” i opozycji patriotycznej. Część z nich była tworzona przez artystów, a część przez samych działaczy-amatorów. Niezwykle ciekawą część zbioru stanowi poczta strajkowa oraz poczta obozowa. Michał Guć posiada jedną z większych kolekcji tego typu, którą zdołał zgromadzić dzięki osobistemu zaangażowaniu w walkę o przemiany demokratyczne.

Andrei Siniavskii Papers

Andrei Siniavskii was a Soviet dissident, writer and literary critic and student of literature. The bulk of the collection includes his writings, correspondence and photographs. It is an extensive collection, containing material that he produced and collected over his lifetime, together with his wife Mariia Rozanova, who was lesser known but also a significant figure in the dissident movement. These include his writings, diaries, correspondence, interrogation and records from the 1966 trial of Siniavskii and another writer Yuli Daniel, printed matter, sound recordings, photographs, and memorabilia relating to Russian literature, civil rights in the Soviet Union, political trials and conditions of political prisoners in the Soviet Union, and Russian émigré affairs. This collection also includes records of the Russian-language Paris journal Sintaksis, published and edited by Siniavskii himself.

Archive Citizens Movement of Enviromental Library Grosshennersdorf

The Großhennersdorf environmental library, founded in 1987, and its accompanying Civic Movement Archive stand as a testament to the opposition in the GDR occurring outside of large urban areas. Due to its proximity to both Poland, and the ČSSR, transnational influences are readily visible.
