Renáta Růžičková (born Brožová) was born in March 30th, 1968 in Pardubice. She graduated at the grammar school in Holice in eastern Bohemia and in 1986 she started working in the State Archives in Brno (today the Moravian Archives). A year later, she was accepted to study archival studies at the UJEP Faculty of Arts (FF). During the event of the revolution in 1989, she joined the students who took part in the Strike Committee of the FF UJEP. Here she joined Pavel Kocman, Darja Golková (later Kocábová) and Ivo Durec and co-created the archive - today's collection of the UJEP Strike Committee. In 1990 she finalised the collection together with Darja Golková. She graduated in 1991. She currently works as an archivist in the State District Archive in Pardubice.
